Old-Time Appalachian String Band

CSR hosts an Old-Time Jam Session every Sunday afternoon from 2:00-5:00 at Cary St. Café, located at 2631 West Cary Street in Richmond, Virginia.   The session is the longest-running old-time session in the region and is open to anyone who wants to hear or play the music.

We welcome players and listeners of all levels, so if you want to play - or learn - some old-time tunes, come on out to Cary St. Café on Sunday afternoon and join in with CSR!   On rare occasions we have cancelled the session for the odd reason, so you might want to check the Cary Street Ramblers Facebook Page or with the Café to make sure we're there.

U.S. Senator Tim Kaine joins in with his harmonica.  Tim's wife, Anne, came along and treated us to some fine flatfoot dancing!

We have a fun time at the weekly jam session - always keeping it enjoyable, welcoming, and festive!

Throughout the years....
